WHY I’M BUILDING
Our health. Our communities. Our money. Our sense of purpose. We trusted institutions to take care of these things, and somewhere along the way, too many of them started serving the system instead of the people.
I’m not anti-business. I think business might be one of the most powerful tools we have for changing that. But it has to remember what it’s for: healthcare that helps people get well, systems that build people up instead of extracting from them.
Ownership is part of that. It’s deciding that when something matters enough, we don’t have to wait for someone else to fix it.
WHAT I’M BUILDING
There's a particular kind of exhausted that comes from being told you're fine when you know you're not. Medi Mediators pairs women navigating unexplained symptoms with an RN who reviews their chart, sits with them, and helps them figure out what to actually explore next.
The right person in the room.
When I gave birth to my daughter, things went wrong fast. I was exhausted, scared, and seconds from panicking when my mom stepped in.
She wasn’t just my mom. She was an RN. She understood what was happening, knew what to do, and gave me something I didn’t fully understand the value of until much later: access.
Most women don’t have that. They’re left trying to make sense of symptoms, medical notes, and what to ask for next on their own.
Medi Mediators is my attempt to close a piece of that gap. To make sure more women have someone knowledgeable in their corner before they walk back into the room.

Teens used to have places that felt like they were made for them. Malls, arcades, colorful stores, cheap snacks, somewhere to meet friends and just be young. I keep thinking about what it would look like to build that again: a safe, fun, affordable space designed around teens instead of asking them to squeeze into spaces made for everyone else.

You buy the art, the furniture, the portrait, and then the experience stops right before the part that makes it feel finished. LocalLuxe would help local businesses carry the sale all the way home, with delivery, setup, and installation that make shopping local feel as thoughtful as what you bought.
